Your rate is applied to the sale less sales tax and the card processing fee (2.9% + 30¢) — tax goes straight to a government, and the fee is what it costs to collect the money at all, so neither side earns on either. The figures above use Stripe’s standard rate; every real sale uses the exact fee Stripe charged, and your dashboard shows it per sale.
Rates are set per app and can change as an app’s pricing moves. The rate you see here is the rate in force today — and whatever rate applies when a sale is credited to you is locked onto that sale, so a change later never reprices what you’ve already earned.
Why 90 days?
Because customers can request a refund for 60 days, and we won’t pay you for a sale that later unwinds. The hold runs longer than the refund window on purpose — so a refund approved on the last possible day still has time to land before your money moves. Every commission sits for 90 days, then pays automatically. You’ll see the exact release date the moment a sale lands — no chasing, no surprises, and nothing we can quietly claw back later.

Who is this for?
Professional creators and micro-influencers with an audience that actually uses software — operators, small-business owners, freelancers, teams. There's no general user-referral scheme; this program is only for people promoting to an audience.
What happens if my referral refunds?
The commission comes off your balance, and we email you to say so. If it happens after you've been paid, it nets against your next commissions — we'll never send you an invoice.
What exactly is my percentage a percentage of?
The sale, minus sales tax and the card processing fee (2.9% + 30¢). Tax goes straight to a government and the fee is what it costs to take the payment at all, so neither of us earns on either. Apps published by outside developers work differently — there the rate applies to the developer's share, and the table above says so per app.
Does my partnership expire?
Only if we agree a fixed term up front, in which case you'll see the end date in your dashboard from day one. Most partnerships have no end date. If a term does end, new sales stop being credited — but everything you've already earned is still owed and still pays out on the normal schedule.
Do I need a Stripe account?
To get paid, yes. You connect it from your dashboard in a couple of minutes and Stripe handles the bank details and tax forms — we never see them. You can start earning before you connect it.
Is there a minimum payout?
$25. Below that your balance rolls forward to the next run, so payout fees never eat a small cheque.
Can I buy through my own link?
No — self-referrals are blocked automatically, and we flag the patterns that look like a workaround. Everything else is fair game.
What can't I do?
No bidding on Yakura brand terms, no coupon-site sniping, no spam, and don't promise features we don't have. Beyond that, promote it however suits your audience.
